The job sits beside the video
When a meeting belongs to a job, its agreed terms and where the work stands are shown next to the call, so nothing is lost between talking and agreeing.
Invite anyone
Add people by email. Members get a notification and everyone else gets an invitation. For people outside WORK89 you can use a passcode so they can see the details without an account. Joining a video room needs a WORK89 account.
Your own look
Pick a room colour, blur your background or use your own picture. Times show in each person’s own time zone.
Recording with consent
Hosts on business accounts can allow recording and a transcript. Everyone must agree before entering, everyone sees a recording sign, only the host can download it, and it is deleted after 7 days.
A calendar that keeps up
Meetings, job dates and your own events sit in one WORK89 calendar, with a clear history of what has passed.

Is this a video meeting platform?
Yes. WORK89 rooms are video meetings built into WORK89, designed for the conversations that come before, during and after real work: interviews, site chats, quotes and agreements.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in the browser on a phone or computer, and inside the WORK89 app.
Who can join a room?
People you invite who have a WORK89 account. People without an account can be invited by email to see the meeting details, but a video room itself needs an account.
Can a meeting be recorded?
Only if the host has recording switched on for their account and allows it for that meeting. Everyone is asked to agree before entering. Transcripts work best in English, and AI summaries can be wrong, so check them.
What does it cost to join a meeting?
Joining and talking in a room does not cost members anything. Recording and transcripts are a paid feature for business accounts.
WORK89 does not hold or move money between people, and a meeting is not a work agreement. Agree the work and payment in the WORK89 agreement.
